Rosque, yup. Workarounds tool is only designed to work with the official EXE.

So I can put original exe from my disc, use the workaround and put back modded .exe file?

Nope. The workaround tool is essentially a trainer that only works with the original executable. It won't work with the modded exe unless someone makes a version for it.

Doesn't work on original exe either. Oh well..

Leftos, I put Playvision to on, but no plays are run (Run Plays is ON in game) and playvision is only when my team inbounds the ball. Even with Workaround tool open and MyCareer Playvision set to ON, playvision ingame resets to OFF and Lite.

I'm guessing you only opened the tool after the game was already loaded.

Try these steps:

Open the tool.
Click Playvision to ON/Lite.
Don't close the tool.
Load NBA 2K13.
Load your MyCareer.
Check Run Plays option is On under Game Settings.
Don't bother with the other settings if you're a curious cat.
Play a game to test if it's activated.
Leftos is sexy???
Profit.

If it works and you have multiple MyCareer saves then load them too and repeat steps above.
You don't have to activate the tool every time you play once it works.

if for some reason during a game, i don't want my team to run plays (i'm not a PG) can i do this somehow? i dont mean disableing the playvision while the team still runs plays, but have them not run plays at all (freestyle).

If you want your team not to run plays and just freestyle, when your player doesn't have the ball (off-ball) and the ball has already crossed the half-court line press the pick and roll button (LB if you're using a 360 controller). You will see the playcall box cycle thru different plays each time you press the button, if you don't see a play called or no play markers on the court it's freestyle time.

Pressing that button once or twice will also allow you to easily get the ball when you call for a pass, great when you have a hard-headed PG (like Rondo) who won't pass you the ball every time you call for a pass because the current play is dumb.
