The Friday Five: Top 5 Favourite NBA Finals Series

Postby Andrew on Fri May 24, 2013 11:44 pm

The NBA Finals will be upon us within the next couple of weeks, so for the next couple of Friday Fives I'll be counting down my favourite and least favourite NBA Finals series. This week I'm starting out with my Top 5 Favourites, exercising great self-restraint by limiting myself to just two Bulls championships.

MJ's trainer claims it was food poisoning. Jalen Rose claims hangover, but then he also assured us that LeBron and Bosh were going to New York, as per his sources.

Nice list. (Y) The 2011 Finals is definitely up there on my personal favorites. For me, #1 will always be the 1994 NBA Finals. It's not just because the Rockets won their first championship (but that's the biggest reason), but also because it was done in seven hard-fought games. Let's also not forget the clash of Hakeem vs. Ewing. Olajuwon's game-winning block on John Starks in Game Six was amazing.

Fantastic write up Andrew

Fantastic job Leftos, now find the 2KInsider and out him so we may mutiny and install you as the new Roster Guru, with your NST formulas and to-the-minute play-by-play updates. Yes, its a bit of a power trip, but a 99% accurate roster is worth it since we'd deal with a super-Drummond.
