- All player overall ratings have now been revealed in NBA 2K15. Naturally, there was controversy!
- What did we think of the Momentus Trailer for NBA 2K15?
- We loved Da_Czar's insight into the evolution of freelance offense in this year's game, but which part made us geek out the most?
- MyPARK and The Stage have finally been unveiled. We only wish JaoSming were here to gush over it!
- Knowing our luck with predictions, are we even going to bother speculating on the unannounced feature?
- Moving on to the real NBA, we discuss the addition of more sleeved jerseys, a potential change to free throws, Paul George's eventual comeback, and Tim Duncan.
- We close this week's episode by getting a bit technical with DeMarcus Cousins.

Will the first podcast after the release of Live 15 be episode 100? How fitting.

As it stands, 100 will be the week before NBA Live 15 comes out.

Episode #99: Sean O'Brien Interview #2 (October 18th, 2014)Hosts: Andrew & Arcane
Special Guest: Sean O'Brien
We're excited to present you with another special episode of the NLSC Podcast this week, featuring our highly anticipated second interview with NBA Live 15 Executive Producer, Sean O'Brien! Our community submitted lots of questions for Sean and we did our best to ask as many of them as possible, as once again he was very open and candid in his responses. Some of the topics we discussed include:
- The decision to push back NBA Live 15's release, and the work that's been done in the additional weeks of development time.
- The demo/early access dates, and what those trial versions will entail.
- Key improvements in this year's game, at both ends of the court.
- What features are on the cards for next year, and why certain features couldn't be included this year (such as sliders).
- Some of the community's most commonly asked questions about NBA Live 15.
- And much more!

As we mentioned on the show, Sean will be answering some questions that we didn't have time to ask "on-air" in written format, so stay tuned for that follow-up. A big thanks to Sean once again for joining us for another interview! As always, we welcome your thoughts on this week's show, as well as any of the topics that we discussed. We also invite you to join in the discussion taking place in the

Episode #101 (November 5th, 2014)Hosts: Andrew & Arcane
Episode #101 is out now, hosted by Arcane and myself! Despite my obsession with the Fallout series, I resisted the temptation to make a Fallout 3 reference. We did, however, provide our initial impressions of NBA Live 15, our latest thoughts on NBA 2K15, and our reflections on the first week of the 2014/2015 NBA season.
- We briefly reflect on last week's 100th Episode of the NLSC Podcast.
- NBA Live 15 is out now! We've had the game for a week now, and have some initial impressions to share.
- Day one updates added some new content to NBA Live 15. It'll be interesting to see how the game can evolve over the next few months.
- NBA 2K15's daily updates are a huge improvement on previous years. A checklist of what's in the updates has also been made available.
- The PC version of NBA 2K15 was free to play on Steam last weekend. We provide a quick update on the situation with modding.
- Moving on to our NBA discussion, we chat about the first week of the 2014/2015 season.
- Injuries are plaguing Derrick Rose - again - but also the Oklahoma City Thunder. Meanwhile, the Cavs and Lakers are off to sluggish starts.
- We wrap up the show with a few thoughts on Lauren Hill's story.

Unfortunately, you didn't save this podcast properly. You exported it at 16kHz instead of the usual 44kHz, so everything sounds quite muffly and we can't hear how nice the new mic is.
Thu Nov 06, 2014 11:13 am
I know, unfortunately I realised that far too late. I usually record the Podcast on my laptop, whereas this time I recorded on my desktop, and I hadn't changed those settings in Pamela (I'm used to everything already being in place). My bad, I've made sure that everything will be right next week (and tested out the recording again to make doubly sure).

Episode #102 (November 13th, 2014)Hosts: Andrew & Arcane
Episode #102 of the NLSC Podcast is out now! This week, Arcane and I both have new microphones, and we've actually recorded the show at the proper quality! Join us as we chat about the past week in NBA Live 15 and NBA 2K15, as well as a few NBA topics.
- NBA Live 15 has been receiving new content, from current rosters to Legends and Challenges in Ultimate Team.
- Once again, Fernando is keeping tabs on our roster feedback thread in the NLSC Forum.
- A new interview and blog have also provided us with some further insight into the development of NBA Live 15.
- NBA 2K15 has also been receiving new MyTEAM content, along with the daily roster updates.
- Our talented community has made some significant strides in developing tools to mod NBA 2K15.
- We wrap up the news segment with some housekeeping notes on the Wiki and Downloads section.
- Arcane talks about his recent experiences in NBA 2K15's MyCAREER, while Andrew reflects on playing with JaoSming in The Park.
- Some observations about offline multiplayer in NBA Live 15 and NBA 2K15 lead us to wonder...are we gaming dinosaurs?
- Moving on to the real NBA, we give our thoughts on broken records (dubious and otherwise), and the current league standings.
- Cleveland has won a few games, but LeBron James lost his triple double, and a bizarre handshake has been unveiled.
- When will the Philadelphia 76ers win their first game of the 2014/2015 season? We make our predictions.
- We close the show by admiring Robin Lopez's latest artistic masterpiece.

When I click the download link, it says "Failed - No File". Any ideas?
Thu Nov 13, 2014 11:57 pm
Just checked and it's working fine for me.
Sat Nov 15, 2014 6:24 am
Your new mic sounds much better, Andrew. Much more full sounding. The old one had no mids or lows.
Sat Nov 15, 2014 9:13 am
It's a pretty awesome mike, the Blue Yeti.

Sat Nov 15, 2014 12:36 pm
Got it working. It's because IDM expired so I uninstalled it and now I'm downloading it. Will listen to it later

- As we open the show, it appears as though Arcane won't be able to join us...or will he?
- We quickly rundown some recent NBA Live 15 news, including the latest Ultimate Team content.

I haven't listened yet, but the summery says Vlad landed a job with Visual Concepts, but AFAIK, that is not the case. He just sent in a resume(unless you know something we don't).
Fri Nov 21, 2014 8:30 am
Well, as far as we're aware it's past the application stage, since he's negotiating terms. I'm sure he'll keep us informed.
Fri Nov 28, 2014 11:10 pm
No show this week, but we should be back on the air next week.
