Unable to access downloads

Hello. I found this site a few days ago after just getting NBA 2K13 and reading about how mods can improve the game a lot. However, I have a big problem:

Whenever I press "DOWLOAD" on a file, i.e. the ESPN v5 scoreboard mod, the file seems to download correctly but at the last moment I get a message telling me that the file can't be found on the server. From there on I can't access the download-page at all. I get an error-message depending on the browser. It tells me that the site can not be found.

In short, when I got here downloads.php I just get an error message. The first time of the day it works fine until I try downloading a file. As soon as I have tried (and failed) to download a file, I can no longer access the downloads-page at all.

Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem? I don't have any software firewall that I know of...

I haven't had any other reports of that happening. Are you using any download acclerators or browsers with plugins of that nature?

No. I use the latest version of Firefox without many plug-ins.

After trying a little more it seems the problem only starts when trying to download this specific file: ESPN TV v5 for 16:9 Monitors Unfortunally, that's about the only file I'm interested in that I haven't been able to download yet. I can't find that mod or anything that seems as well made anywhere else.

After having tried pressing "DOWNLOAD" on that file, I can't access any downloads at all. Maybe there's something wrong with the file/link?

EDIT: Even though I had searched before and found nothing, by chance I just found that exact mod on nba2k.org but the Mediafire and 4shared links there do the exact same thing as this site's. I suspect there is something very strange with that file. The other two sharing sites (Mega, Box) work for some reason, so it's not as urgent anymore. Still strange though...

Just checked and that file's working fine for me. What kind of security software/settings do you have in place? That's the only other thing I can think of off the top of my head.

It was all my anti-virus software's fault. Both the downloads issue AND the one I had when installing the mod. I tried inactivating it and suddenly everything worked perfectly. Re-activated and the issues started happening again. So, I'm sorry for not trying that earlier but the anti-virus ("avast!") does not include a firewall, so I didn't think it could do something like that. At least this proves nothing is wrong, except for me and my fellow anti-virus.
