A bug in MyCareer?

Postby trooper009 on Sat Nov 30, 2013 1:05 am

In my player's fifth season in MyCareer, whenever I tried to sim to this particular game or sim to the next key game, the program shuts down or crashes. I also think the main cause of this is my "over-usage" of trainers and cheats in my saved files. Can somebody pinpoint the main problem of these crashes and does have an idea of fixing them? tnx. :)

If you've been externally manipulating your save file with trainers, it's very likely that that's the cause of the problem. If the file is now corrupted/damaged, there's probably not much you can do except start over or restore from a recent backup that's working, should you happen to have one.

Even my backups are exhibiting this problem...

Then you're probably out of luck, unfortunately.

Hey Andrew, I just installed my NBA 2k13 on my new laptop that runs the game really smooth. Unfortunately, some of the court or scoreboard mods don't display. I have a customized Suns court I copied to the NBA 2k13 directory and when I play as the suns at US Airways Center, it uses the current black and orange court. I don't know why it doesn't show the TNT scoreboard of mine. Help!

For any files that received official updates, I believe you need to overwrite the same files in the Online Data\downloads folder as well. Failing that, try using Keep My Mod, available in the Downloads section.
