I noticed that all the shoes share the same file name. Does this mean that we can only have one of them in our game at a time? This is my first time using a shoe mod. My first year with Nba 2k on PC as well so this is all fairly new to me.

You can rename/replace them with another.
Nike: shoe_100_00.iff to shoe_135_00.iff
Jordan: shoe_500_00 to 530_00.iff

The shoes go in order left to right, Jordan 1 is 500_00 and Jordan 11 is 510_00 and so on.

Ok figured out the sneakers go straight into the nba 2k12 directory but in my nba 2k12 folder it goes from 100_00.iff to 146 then starts at 200 same for jordan I guess it goess from 500_00 to 550_00.iff. Why is it that my jordan, assmuing that all the 5##= jordan, has 20 more files than yours as well as nike having 11 more, assuming the same goes for all 1## ?

shoe_136 to 146 are "special" NikeID I don't think they can be replaced at the moment. For Jordans In game I can only see up to shoe_530, you can replace up to 550 but we can't get them into the game without a roster editor.

Thanks for all the info bro . Im still learning how to do these things first and a lot of it is on the fly. Glad everyone is so helpful, time to add the rest of the pennys into my game

I took out Shaqnosis and the Air Alonzo's because I just re-textured them from 2k10 and they don't look that good. They need to be redone. Just wait on Tie_Shen retro shoe patch I'm sure he will have it covered.
