Question on free agent coaches

I setup some head coaches, assistants, and scouts in my database (via REditor). When I start new association, I do not see them showing in terms of when I want to hire a replacement for my current coach/assistant/scout/etc.. It is always some new random head coaches or assistants that the game made up during the initialization that are available for hiring (in other words, they were not there in the original database but are now showing as possible hires).

I have verified all of this via REditor.

I am just wondering if somebody who is an experienced editor knows if there is a way to keep those free agent staff as options in association once a new one is initiated. I can always copy/paste once I start association (via REditor) but I was wondering if there was an easier way.a
