End of MP Rookie Contract & The Knicks

So I'm approaching the end of year 2 of my rookie contract. I was drafted 13th by the rockets but got traded to the Knicks. Initially I thought this was great but they are awful! We're 29-35 and the playoffs are pretty much beyond our reach. I find the Knicks OK and love playing with Melo and Amare, but they're lazy rebounders and terrible defending the middle surprisingly.

Has anyone else played with the Knicks?

Also, I'm interested to know where people went, what contracts they were offered and based on what stats at the end of their rookies contracts?

Final question - do you get any additional XP at the endow your contract ? I want to upgrade 'attributes' but they're 14k upwards which is pricey! Are they worth saving points up for?
