Games lags on Player Close-ups

Postby SoF'nAwesome on Fri Apr 27, 2012 11:51 am

So, the game starts to lag whenever there is a close-up on a player/players. For example, after shooting a 3P, when the player is shown the game starts lagging. As in a bit shattered playback.

This started happening after I manually deleted the ENB files from my 2K12 folder. Any solution to this?

Thanks in advance.

P.S.: On a non-related topic, is there a list of D-League cyberfaces? 'cause on my new all updated roster, I see headless white bodies everywhere. After seeing each, I have to download a cyberface for them & paste it to my 2k12 folder. But it isn't possible for me to find every headless white body & assign a cyberface to them. So, I was hoping for a list of cyberfaces. There are some exceptions, for example, the latest Albys Roster doesn't have Terel Harris. So, even if I assign him a cyber face, he is still headless as he isn't included in the roster file.

Thanks all for reading :)

Are you sure you deleted all the ENB files, including, most importantly, d3d9.dll and all similar files from 2K12's folder? I've seen the same lagging in the console versions of 2K11, usually denotes insufficient hardware power.

Hey Leeftos, big fan :D

Yep, I deleted all the files that you mentioned. As a matter of fact, I downloaded the ENB file, un-rar'd it and deleted all the files in the ENB folder by searching.

I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware problem. As the game used to run smooth before.

Thanks for your reply.

I have no idea what it could be. Probably a graphics setting that got changed in the process?

You the man Leeftos :D

Some irony. I previously had the Ballerskillkz global, but was just browsing around & saw your latest update on Moose(nice name!). So, downloaded your main file(mainly because I thought the Midas Shadow Mod was a bit too dark) & voila! The lagging was gone

I don't know how it could have been related to the global but the problem is solved :)

Note in point, the Ballerskillz global was in use when I deleted the ENB files.

I don't think that globals have anything that could make a significant difference in performance. But whatever works for you! :P
