Editing Create a Team Jerseys

Starting to figure this stuff out...
I'm trying to edit the Create a Team jerseys, but the jersey file I changed appears to be greyscale even though there was colour when I saved it.

I know for sure it is being tinted by the jersey colours that you choose in the create a team section:



Is there any way around this?

when the REDitor comes out you can make it not use the custom colors, but right now you need to make the different colors of the uniform red, blue, and green, and then edit the colors accordingly in-game.

Also is there any way of trading away or waiving the players on the unlockable visual concepts team or 2k teams? or is that a reditor thing as well?
