Go wired. That way, if you ever get a 360 and need an extra controller, you can use that one for it, too.

theres the xbox version and the pc windows version but the windows one is more expensive. i hear that the xbox version works perfectly fine on the pc. should i just get the xbox version or do you recommend getting the pc windows version?

I don't know. I guess you can go with the cheaper one. More than likely they are the exact same thing with different packaging.

The PC one comes in different packaging with a disc that has drivers on it. But you can just get those off the internet so go for whichever is cheaper.

And you want wired for PC, the wireless one doesn't work properly.

You can even get the drivers off Windows Update. Plug the controller and run windows update.

Wireless one works completely fine, it just requires a dongle and it costs more.

thanks everyone.. bought the wired one for xbox and it works perfectly fine on pc. just plug in and it downloads and install the drivers automatically.
