Gametrack and HP Media Zone question

Postby john26 on Fri Dec 16, 2011 5:23 pm

Is it just me or did 2k remove the score at the bottom of replays when you watch them from gametrack? Cause that was a pretty cool feature from last year and I was hoping they'd be able to include commentary for this year.

Also, why aren't all shot replays showing? I never get to see first quarter replays when I finish the game. After the game, all that's left are 2, 3, 4 qtr replays.

Finally, how long does it take for videos uploaded using HP Media Zone show up at nba2k.com? Or does it not work for PC?

for the first thing, I want to say that was a bug last year with the scoreboard showing up.....it sucked for mix makers.

sounds like you dont have a cache big enough or something to store all the replays, no idea how to fix that

I havent been able to upload stuff from the PC version.
Opinions are my own.

I just re-did what I did when I first got the game and was able to upload. Go to My2K, It should have your account information come up with none of the boxes filled out but your username. Go down to services or social whatever and check youtube, twitter, or facebook if you want, then go back and enter your current password and press start. It should say it was updated, and you will get an email.

JaoSming, Thanks for the info about the gametrack bro.

Pdub, thanks bro, I tried your way like so On my email, there is an email 'Changes to your SNS settings'. I click that and it goes to the nba2k website and get to this link

Code: Select all
http://www.nba2k.com/youtube_callback?code='some combination goes here'

and nothing seems to appear on the page. Did you get this error? Or am I doing it wrong.

The same thing happens when I click 'Account Settings' under my username > 'Add' (beside 'Youtube Account Name' text). I am told to sign in to my email, and then it goes to the same page and nothing appears too.

I also tried resetting my router and modem as it may be related to DNS, but the same still happens.

I also tried viewing it in different browser (eg IE, FF, Safari) but the same still happens.

I have a username, password, my CD Key entered and nothing else linked (I just wanna link Youtube)

Is your youtube email the same as the one you used for 2k?

I don't know what else to tell you but try out from a different computer, or try registering your account in the game as if you just bought it. That means sign out, then make a new account using the exact same name, password and email and try linking your account again. The first time I did it, I got an email from youtube asking me to allow 2k privileges to upload videos to my account. If you never got that, you may want to check if there are any special youtube settings that you changed that might affect it, but there probably aren't any.

Last but not least, contact 2k support. There is a phone number and email address in the manual.
