IMO i would be better off trying to make sure I get the "Elite 8" in March included in this mode rather than a team that is having an off year.
Well preseason rankings are notorious for being wrong. Louisville beat Butler in game 1 this year, knocking them out of the top 25, and Louisville has been ranked for weeks now. Cincinnati is ranked now and 14-0. Baylor, Gonzaga, North Carolina, Temple, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Washington are no longer ranked.
I guess I'm just trying to get the most popular, and longtime successful programs in. You get more fans and more interest. People in Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina areas especially take college basketball more serious than any other sport. Only a handful of people would be interested in a Baylor-Temple matchup. But every college basketball fan appreciates Duke-UNC, Louisville-Kentucky, Indiana-Michigan St, or Georgetown-Villanova, etc. And lots of other mixes of those top teams. Sure there's a few people out there hoping for Gonzaga or Butler to be the "Cinderella" team. But there's a reason those 30+ teams I suggested have 3+ Final Fours each, they are consistently good over long periods of time. Seems good to start from a base of perennially good teams and carry that from mod to mod, then add in more lesser known teams as things get smoothed out.
But enough of that I guess. I don't want to be Mr Negative Guy that keep complaining.

To help, yes ESPN.com has a clubhouse for every team, easy places to grab logos and info without leaving one site. From the
rankings page on ESPN, you can just click on a team name and get to their homepage, with rosters, logos, schedules, etc.
When you get into the rosters page and click on an individual player, there's also a photo link, if there are any available for the player. That helps down the road when/if you try to diversify the looks of the players. Sure you could go around looking at each school's athletics page and searching for stuff, but ESPN has most of what you would need right there in one place.
There's also usually video highlights of their most recent game on the clubhouse page or if you click on a game recap. Or if you're in the US, there are also like 30 days worth of replay games on ESPN3.com as well, that you can watch and look for arena details.
Good luck. And good to hear that bug got fixed. This project looks pretty awesome for a beta.
