I tried to patch Gary Neal with Koresh's cyber face.....here..........viewtopic.php?f=136&t=75677&start=500
And it didn't work.....what is the png for Gary Neal?
Gary Neal png# is 1688. BTW Mr Xcitement provided an Excel Spreadsheet with the new png#'s for the portraits he added in case you need other png#'s

mucusfriend wrote:I tried your Jan2011 roster and even though portraits show up fine Koresh's cyber faces do not. They are not missing (white) they are generic (default). To be honest I got the cyberfaces from kova's thread not Koresh's (not sure if they're different).

Let me know which ones are not working so I can fix them before I post an Update...Thx Bro

I'd start an association right now if 2k released the pc patch.
However I just noticed that you've made minor tweaks. Could you post what you've changed?
mucusfriend wrote:What are your plans now? Will you keep updating every 2k' roster? If so, will you use the new roster as base each time or your current one?
mucusfriend wrote:I think you should leave everything to default. Just add portraits and CF to 2k's roster.
This may be just me, but I get realistic gameplay+results by playing with 2k's rosters. I'm mainly interested in association mode but 2k's progression system and overall rating formula is so flawed that no user roster can fix it

mucusfriend wrote:There is a TURK script in Mr.Xcitement's thread that will probably help you if you create a roster from scratch everytime.

Shoe patch + portraits + new cyberfaces + updated Roster = WIN! great idea
mucusfriend wrote:Something that may help in association mode without altering on-court gameplay is lowering everyone's potential by 10. You can also set d-leaguers' pro years to 27 so they retire after this season. You could also lower everyone's offensive/defensive awareness by 10 (or more) so they have lower overall ratings but still play the same however this needs further testing (results are not clarified yet).
Those changes would be too painstaking to do on every roster, I hope more scripts can be created with reditor.
I firmly believe that you should not alter any ratings, tendencies, positions etc, there are already great rosters (kova's etc).
mucusfriend wrote:I do not like this. Portraits and cyberfaces work just fine as usualbut player positions are just off.
For instance you've set d-rose's secondary position as SG but I have never seen him play as such. Also Joe Johnson's is clearly a SG, not SF. And Granger is certainly not a PF. I have not noticed your ratings adjustments.
I do not understand why you did this. It's true that players' roles are messed up but why do we care?Teams use players according to minutes set in rotations.
mucusfriend wrote:I do not understand. From my experience things are totally different.
In quick matches teams will use players as much as you've set in rotations. In season/association mode rotations just reset and cpu controlled teams rely solely on overall ratings to distribute minutes and roles (there is a bug with injured players but it's 2k's fault).
