It seems as though you hit everything you set out to do with this at the start. Was there still something left you didnt get to?

Hey Culture, thanks for the props. I had listed some things I'd be interested on working on to get to a 1.0 release. Hopefully some day I'll get back to it but it might be awhile.

PeacemanNOT wrote:So the next question is what exactly would get this mod to a 1.0 release, and I can definitely think of things but I'm not entirely sure if I'll ever get them done or if they're possible. Here's a list of things I've thought of:
- Finish the remaining throwback/retro uniforms that I've hidden
- Finish the hidden artwork (teams unlocked via cheat codes)
- Start working on the D-League artwork
- Make an opening day roster
- More cyberface conversions, especially for the 2011 Draft Class

Then there's other things that are just pipe dreams of mine, of which I'd probably have to hire someone to get done. They'd require a lot more programming knowledge, especially in game design which is something I don't really have.
- Stop the now unnecessary use of the crowd/bench player LOD system
- Stop the hiding of socks when players wear calf sleeves
- Automatically use postseason variants of courts/dornas
- Extracting the higher quality commentary audio of 2K11's console versions
- Finishing the 2K11 portion of the 2K13 Audio Editor that Leftos never finished

This update has been a long time coming. Now that all the main artwork is completed, the mod is actually worth using if you're looking to start an Association or MyPlayer.

All that's really missing on that front is an Opening Day Roster and the D-League Artwork, but what is there is pretty good for now.

I've uploaded two separate downloads, an ALL IN ONE version with all the previous updates/optional files, and then a version for updating from v0.3 to v0.4:

CHANGELIST:
v0.4:
- Completed all remaining 2011 teams uniforms, courts, stadiums, and logos.
- Completed generic regular season and postseason national TV dornas for all 2011 teams.
- Completed uniforms, courts, and stadiums for the 2011 All-Stars, Rookies/Sophomores, Generic All-Stars, and Team Jordan.
- Converted and added onto a combined version of TNeck's Retextured Crowd/Sideline Character mods from 2K11 to 2K14.
- Completed uniforms for Free Agents and Blacktop.
- Completed the remaining logo updates within the custom hex edited bootup screen.
- Updated stadium details of the 2011 76ers and 2011 Bucks.
- Updated court details of the 2011 Nets and 1995 Knicks.
- Created the 'Team Color Shoes' roster for Association/MyPlayer, so when players are traded they have the correct colors (some shoe colors may still be incorrect).
- Assigned random Nike/Adidas/Reebok/Converse shoes to the D-League and MyPlayer summer league players, so nobody is wearing 2K Generics.
- Assigned accessories and random face shapes/hairstyles to the MyPlayer summer league players, so not everyone is bald and looking the same.
- Fixed the jersey previews for V Necks with a logo or detail.
- Fixed the sudden texture cut-off on the blacktop spotlight.
- Updated the Larry O'Brien trophy to be more shiny and have correct bump mapping.
- Updated the dunk showdown uniforms in blacktop (only for available dunkers).
- Updated the alpha channels of various logos so they stand out less on certain backgrounds.
- Fixed some of the sudden uniform color changes when players transition from playing on-court to being benched.
- Added missing cyberfaces to several 2011 players, and converted a few 2K12 cyberfaces.

iT LOOK LIKE NOT HAVE 2024-25 SEASON DATA

Hi Peaceman, I commented on your last All-Star Game video for your remastered mod and you directed me to come here with art suggestions for a future version. I know you're not modding 2K11 at the moment, but I did want to add a few art/cyberface suggestions for a future 2K11 Remastered Version:

1. I noticed that you used 2K13’s Chris Paul cyberface with the 2K12 beard texture. Do you think you can do the same for Dwyane Wade? I think his 2K13 cyber
face is perfect but the beard is a bit too thick. I think giving him his 2K12 beard with his 2K13 face will really give that 2010-11 season look.Image

2. Are you planning on using Monta Ellis’ and LeBron's 2K12 tattoos? He had his two full tattoo sleeves in 2009-2010 season, but 2K didn't update his tattoos until 2K12. I do think his 2K12 cyberface is extremely accurate. Image Image

Same thing with LeBron, he has two tattoos on his inner biceps that he got during the 2009-10 season, but it wasn’t available until 2K12. Image
Image

3. Jamal Crawford has outdated tattoos and it doesn’t get added into 2K until 2K13 despite having these tattoos since the 2009-2010 season. So, his 2K13 tattoos should be added (without the tattoo on his right hand). Image
Image

4. Nick Young grew his hair out for the 2010-11 season, but 2K didn't update his hair until 2K13.Image

5. Both of the Lakers & Clippers had the 2011 NBA All-Star logo on their warmup jackets on the right arm. Do you think you would be able to add a version that has the All-Star logo on the Lakers warmups since you did it for the Clippers?

6. Adding a Christmas jersey with the snowflake NBA logo for the 10 teams that played on Christmas Day 2010 (Bulls/Knicks, Celtics/Magic, Heat/Lakers, Nuggets/Thunder, and Trailblazers/Warriors).

7. Last but not least, I can help you out with curating the Opening Day Rosters if you need help. I already completed the rosters with the accurate numbers and everything for Association Mode. Only thing left would be to have accurate coaches and assistant coaches (example: Jerry Sloan being the coach before he resigned with Tyrone Corbin being the assistant coach, Maurice Lucas is inaccurately still the assistant coach for the Blazers even though he sadly passed away before the season began, Chicago Bulls have an outdated assistant coach, the Pacers still having Jim O’Brien as the head coach but Frank Vogel should be the assistant coach since he took over midseason, etc.)

What a great body of work u put here, my man Peaceman. Respects from Greece - wonderful mod for a wonderful game.

I got a few questions, plz help me out.
I assume if 0.4 all in one is installed, wont need to have the previous parts installed, correct?

About the - Use VSync or cap your framerate to 60fps in your graphics control panel...- u mean that vsync on (regardless max fps?) or vsync off with cap 60 fps ( also capped from video settings or my nvidia control panel)?
One last thing, about stadiums / if i have f000-playoffs.iff and f000-finals.iff and in order to work, i need to delete the "-..." from each file, then i ll have 2 f000 with same name so wht should i do?

Thank u in advance!!!

Thank you, there is still a lot more I could do with it but what's there is good to play. To answer your questions:

1) Yes all you need to install is the v0.4 All in One, it includes all the updates.

2) You don't need to use VSync, but the game should be capped to 60fps in some way otherwise certain things will break. The game is still functional above 60fps and is obviously smoother to play, its just that the trade off is you will run into the problems I listed.

3) The optional playoff/finals files should only be placed into the games directory on your discretion, such as when you're playing in the post season with the 76ers. In that case rename f000-playoffs.iff to f000.iff and replace the file, but make sure to backup the original f000.iff or you will lose the regular season version. I'm sorry if this isn't very clear, the reason I had to do this is unlike the original game, the mod's courts use single court textures which removes the automatic appearance of postseason logos.

It's for the PC version only. It won't work with the PS3 version.

No, because as I said, for it's for the PC version (i.e. the Steam or DVD-ROM release that is for PC) only. It will not work with the PS3 version, emulated or otherwise.

Unfortunately a Steam key for NBA 2K11 is pretty impossible to find these days - and the ones that I've seen are ridiculously-priced - but copies of the DVD-ROM release are still out there on eBay, Amazon, etc.

This may be a dumb question, but should I download the official patch first before installing this mod or is it included/not needed? Update: I've went ahead and installed the mod without the patch. Everything is working fine, except I have no audio at all. Could someone please inform on how to fix this issue?
