Loving this X. The Darko challenge is a cool little feature. Also like the trade, the big steal (well best piece anyway) has to be Hill, im a fan and can see good things from him in the future on this roster.
The Multiverse thing is cool, good job on the name twists etc

I believe it's about 47-49 against Milwaukee, so the "From Serbia with Love" challenge is in full effect. Bogut has like 5, 6 & 0 blocks at the half. I think Darko has 4, 5 & 1 block. So it's very close. "Double Trouble" challenge is also in play.

01/02/2011
Team Result: 86-95 loss to Milwaukee (28-28)
Darko's Line: 36 minutes, 15 points, 7/17 FG, 0/1 3Pt, 1/3 FT, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 3 TO's, 4 fouls, +6 PD
Bogut's Line: 38 minutes, 11 points, 5/13 FG, 0/1 3Pt, 1/4 FT, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 4 blocks, 1 TO, 3 fouls, +8 PD

KEY OBJECTIVES
1. Double Trouble: 10+ points, 10+ rebounds in a winning effort
6. From Serbia with Love: Beat Milwaukee, outscore, outrebound and outblock Croatian-blooded Aussie Andrew Bogut

RESULT
FAIL - Failed on both accounts. Darko got the double double, but the team lost as it stuttered down the stretch in the last 2 minutes with Bucks going on 9-0 run to win game after it was tied 86-86. Bogut blocked Darko 3 times in 4th quarter, which threw the "From Serbia with Love" conquest out the window.

Bogut wouldn't even looked at Darko, such is the Croat-Serbian relationships in the NBA

It was a battle for the ages. Whilst Darko won the individual matchup slightly, Bogut's Bucks won the game. You should've heard some of the stuff Darko said after the game. Since this is a PG site, I won't post it, but you can use your imagination.

04/02/2011
Team Result: 104-115 loss to Houston (31-23)
Darko's Line: 27 minutes, 16 points, 6/8 FG, 4/7 FT, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks, 2 TO's, 5 fouls, +8 PD

KEY OBJECTIVES
2. Darko's Block Party: 5 blocks (nominated by Sit)

RESULT
FAIL - Only 3 blocks for the stud from Serbia.

Image PIC OF THE DAY

Image
With his teammates and coaching staff groaning from the sidelines, Jonny Flynn put up a wide open 20 footer to tie the game at 86. Amazingly he swished it for his only jumpshot make of the night. Sadly that was the last point the Wolves would score as the Bucks reeled off 9 straight points to put the game on ice.

Can't blame Darko. he's all about winning after all. Such is the heart of a champ. [/joy]

Loving that pic with Bogut denying Darko. Although failing on these objectives, I like the numbers Darko's been posting.

Loving the recaps. This dynasty is so simple, and yet so compelling. It's really a shame to see Darko just barely fail at his two goals.

Yep, he actually isn't too bad (admittedly I bumped up some of his individual ratings that have been the same for the last 5 years so he's not a 58 anymore, he's like a 63 or something like that) if you run plays for him. He still kinda sucks & you really have to work to get him his points, but he's a wide body who can board & fill space, solid passer who can hit midrange J if he's wide open. But yes, so close yet so far with the objectives.

Lamrock wrote:Loving the recaps. This dynasty is so simple, and yet so compelling. It's really a shame to see Darko just barely fail at his two goals.

It must be the epic pics with the epic taglines  Darko's been close to goals in all his games. The game we win, he's one basket short, the game we lose, well, we just had to man up & win.

I'd love to have more in-depth dynasty but honestly it's very hard to even have the updates I do have. One 48 minute game took me one day to play. All good though, now the patch sorted the stuff out, I'm good to keep this one rolling. It might speed up a little over my Xmas/New Years holiday, but slow down at other times.

Glad you like :P

Nah, you didn't miss too much. To recap it, T'wolves suck, we lose a lot, we suck, we lose a bit more, but hey wait, we got Darko so things aren't so bad

mp3 wrote:Haha nice idea with the Darko story and with him playing so well in the real nba this year too !

It was actually his relatively strong play IRL that inspired the Darko Challenges. Funnily enough I've achieved as many Darko Challenges in 2k11 as I have the MJ Challenges....none

Long time since I posted here, but this is awesome X.

Was thinking of doing a T-Wolves association with Rubio using Rashidi's rosters. Was googling for a Rubio patch and stumbled upon this. Sweet stuff. Love the Darko challenges.

Nice to see you back. Never thought I'd see you back around these parts. You should definitely start a T-wolves Association. They've got some nice young pieces. Frustrating but still fun at the same time :P

JONNY FRIGGIN FLYNN!!! 23 points, 6 rebounds, 13 assists, 3 steals and completely outplaying All-Star Rajon Rondo in a 15 point win. Yep, I'd like to see that!!! And so it was.

Image
And for the fans of the 1996 NBA Draft, the showdown Stephon Marbury vs Allen Iverson. For the record, Marbury was winner with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists off the bench. So to Boston, my washed up former ball hogging shooting guard in a point guard's body is better than yours  Can you tell I was happy with the win? :P
