Seriously, who programmed the cpu to always run towards the sideline on literally every fast break, this happens 9 outta 10 times to me and all my friends who play the game, only time i get a proper fast break is when my pg steals it and runs it in himself....

first one is the best passer in the NBA with a 5 second inbound violation when I'm clearly wide open, I was calling for the ball like a madman btw got an excessive call pass bumped me down 2 grades

this one obvious, who the f am I trying to block ?? why isn't it coded in the game that the defensive player always reaches for the basketball when attempting a block instead of jumping straight up into the air trying to touch the sky

Dirk running away from me barely a tap but somehow creating enough body contact for me to get stuck in a step back animation

ok with this one closely watch first Casspi coming through magically pushing me few feet backwards a la ice skating effect NBA Live is well known for, but the other issue is as soon as Evans got into shooting motion the split second I saw he was raising up for the shot I pointed my analog stick to run to the hoop for the rebound, but instead I got stuck in a second long animation where I watch the ball go up and over me

iirc you can force the cpu to pass to you instead of calling for the ball. Forgot which button to press.

You were going after the ball, at least the animation was, but Chris Paul was in the way so you merely jumped straight up.

Yeah, it's been in the game. Even in the previous version. You'll get used to it eventually.

I've knocked the mop guy to the ground a couple. I fell down into the crowd too. It happened in that crazy stretch of My Player where I only played like seven or eight full games without an injury, and it took me a little while to get up, so I was worried that I'd been injured by the dude with the mop.

Also, the mop guy came onto the court in the middle of a possession once. I was about to cross half-court and the dude starts mopping the opposite side of the court and Serge Ibaka got stuck behind him until the guy finished mopping.

lol, shadowgrin you must be out your mind, are you actually suggesting that we "get used" to horrible programming which produces the total opposite of realism, the one thing this so called basketball simulation supposedly strives for ??

I think the in bounding issue is being addressed in 2k12. They need to allow the user to override some of those contextual animations like staring at the ball after a shot. The blocking issue is a combination of timing and player ratings. You weren't going to block that dunk. I think you could have called a timeout to get your player back on the court after being stick behind the ball boy.

No. imo, it's not a 'game breaker' as most people call it out to be that's why I said you'll get used to it.
