Talk about NBA 2K11 here.

Alright, so I have a brand new computer that meets and/or surpasses the recommended specs. Loaded 2k11, everything works perfectly, except My Player. The drills and summer circuit and everything else work just fine, but I played my first NBA game. Everything seemed to lag, and everything (including game clock) was at approximately half speed. It's not my computer- I know that. What can I do?

Try bringing up the game speed.

It's at 100.

I'm on a computer with like 6GB of RAM and a nice processor and video card and everything. It's brand new (about a week or two) and I just want to know if it's happening to anyone else on my player.

Why you have game speed to 100?

And for the lag - maybe your video card ran out of paste, if you only get lag in NBA games, but not in summer circuit and all that shit, then i think you should check your video card temperature, i got lag when i had no paste in video card anymore.

Dude when i play with a crowd it lags like hell, try disable or set it to low.

Alright, the lag stopped, but stuff is still half speed.

I put it to 100 when everything was really slow, but it's still slow.

You video card may just meet requirements.

I think I figured it out.
I hadn't run the benchmark thing, although I'm still not sure that will fix it, because after it finished, the game froze, and I had to alt-F4 the thing.

Lower the crowd and sideline, I guess. That would really help. And yes, sometimes my player runs slow.

Yeah, my game works a lot better now, but now my crowd looks like sheets of colored paper rather than people. I don't really care though. I was fairly surprised that my new computer couldnt handle all the max settings.

What are your specs?
It's a computer problem.

Or hardware. Update your hardware. Or disable your AV,etc.

Probably a video card or processor problem. What's your video card and processor?

It's not happening anymore. I just lowered the crowd setting to medium, and everything is fine. My video card isn't the best one out there. I'm not a huge gamer, outside of NBA games, so no real problem there. Either way, problem solved.

Mind if you post your specs? You can lower the texture of the sideline player, not sure if it really is necessary (The graphic of the sideline character) than the crowd. Well, your choice.
