with the reditor you can copy and paste out the roster into excel, csv exporting might get supported in a future version
Opinions are my own.

Thanks for the help. It works. (Y)

Used Open Office.

Go here for help on Column Copying.

http://www.oooninja.com/2008/03/drag-drop-move-copy-link-cells-calc.html

Code: Select all
Copy mode

To copy cells:

    Highlight some cells
    Drag the black selected area.
Press and hold the CTRL key. Notice the cursor changes to a plus sign.
    Drop.
    Release the CTRL key.

Haha... really funny :D I hope, that was a joke, as Chuvashia is one of the most calm regions in the whole f Russia.
If that wasn't a joke, i'd recommend you to visit Cheboksary, so you'll see, how polite and kind the people there are. Plus, get a bit more educated: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/-stan
But i really hope, that was a joke. :) If i were a terrorist, i would be sitting in a hidden base, planting some bombs or i don't know, not making public programs, that's for sure. )))

PS: Be better, if you purchased Developer's Interfaces for Global Editing.

I guess, not in the next version, but in the version, which will come after the next version. The reason: i'd like to implement an import/export ability into different file formats (csv, TMM and some REDitor special).

Lots of Bad Stans

Question: What's the Story Behind All the 'Stans?
Answer: In Persian, the suffix "stan" means "place of." In Russian -- remembering that Kazakhstan borders Russia, and five 'stans used to be part of the Soviet Union -- the word "stan" means "settlement." So we have seven countries in Central Asia that share the "stan" suffix:

Afghanistan
Kazakhstan
Kyrgyzstan
Pakistan
Tajikistan
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan

The "stan," however, is where the similarities end. Because of geographical proximity, the countries share some ethnic groups (there are more than 100 different ethnic groups in the seven 'Stans), but the languages are unique and, the closer you get to Russia, the more Russian Orthodox adherents you'll find in a swath that's solidly Muslim in the southern 'Stans.

There are many other uses of the "stan" suffix around the globe, as well. Northern Iraq is often referred to as Kurdistan, or place of Kurds. At the southern tip of Russia in the Caucasus region is Dagestan, a mostly Muslim republic. Waziristan is the rocky, tribal region in Pakistan where Osama bin Laden has been rumored to be hiding out. And the 'Stans go on and on...

True. There is a lot of -stans all over Eastern Europe/Asia. As an example, you can also name Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, which are located in Russia near Chuvashia. Most -stans are territories of persian/arian and turkic/altaian population. The history went the way, rulers of the majority of those people adopted Islam at some stage. Still, for example, the Great Conqueror of those territories of the 13th century, Genghis Khan, was a Tengriist. :) As well as the earlier Turks, including Huns, who are supposed to play a great role at the background of Chuvash people. If you take Persians, most of them used to be zoroastrianists in earlier times.

Anyway, if you take Kazakhstan, for example, it's a very mild country. ;) As well as Tatarstan or Bashkortostan. Although, Dagestan is quite popular among terrorist recruiters.
Also, Chechnya has nothing in common with -stan, but it's the most "terroristic" region in Russia.

As for me, while Chuvashia is the official name of our Republic, i prefer to use Chăvash El or Chăvashstan, as we are turks with some persian "cultural additions", so these names don't sound russian, as Chuvashia.
