my player mode and Passing icons

i am currently playing point guard, and when running plays the "A" icon overlays the actual icon of the player i am supposed to be passing to. i tried messing with the control options but nothing worked. anyone have any ideas on this?

i have done that, and it does not pass to the correct guy most of the time...i can use icon passing with this since everything is an "A" instead of x or b dependent upon who i pass to...i even restarted an ensured my settings for coach were showing all and full etc for play calling.

after messing with it more, it seems that this is related to the playvision display...if you have "lite" on then the "A" icon overlay is always there, but if on "full" it goes back to normal. i guess the question now is how to i set "full" in my player...
