For NBA 2K11, Can I plug in a wireless xbox controller to a controller charger, and connect the USB to my computer?

nope, the charger powers the controller but it still transmits what the controller is doing over wireless
you would still have to buy the wireless receiver for PC or a wired controller

Not possible with the xbox 360 controller but there is a way with a PS3 controller incase you have one of those.
