NBA 2k11 PC problem

When I play 2k11 all is fine, but in late 2nd quarter i can't do anything, pc won't work after this problem, only restart help. What is the problem?

If i post it in wrong section please move it, i am new in 2k11 games and section i don't know. Sorry

OS: Windows XP
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GT240 512mb
RAM: 4Gb
Intel Pentium Dual Core E6600 3.6ghz

Game runs smoothly on max settings no lags. Then game stops and pc don't work.

Check if you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

I will try couple of things but if nothing work, changing os to win 7 will be the last try for me.

or maybe I will uninstall and wait for a patch to come out.
