cant find the right Difficulty for me

Postby atenista14 on Sun Nov 07, 2010 4:34 pm

Im having problems with the difficulty setting in the game. I usually play Pro but I win easily in the game. In all of the games I play with Pro difficulty I win by 10+ plus point vs. the CPU. But when I play All Star difficulty, the game is too difficult for me. even shooting when my player is open is too difficult. Ive been trying to experiment between the shot stick timing and real player % options but still the game is too difficult for me. Is there a way to make the game more competitive in All Star mode? Sliders perhaps?

Thanks

If you are playing with the game style at the casual setting, try changing it to simulation and Pro difficulty. If you are playing on simulation, try putting it on casual and All-Star difficulty.
The game can be very hard as the cpu really capitalizes on mistakes.
Go into practice mode with your shooters and practice their release timing until you can consistently hit those open shots that you miss.

i do play in Simulation Mode because i would like to play a realistic game. Now Im trying to try Casual but I find it unrealistic since I often score 100+ point with it but at least the game in a little competitive in All star mode. also does anybody have any tips on attacking the rim? It is so hard to go and get a decent dunk. all I do is shoot around in midrange coz the CPU does not allow me to go near the painted area. Its impossible for me to perform a spin move thats why its so hard.

Try toning down the CPU's On-Ball Defense slider. Also try doing other isomotion moves if you don't want to do that.
