Player Overalls in 2k11 discussion

OK I would like to know how 2k make overalls for players..??
Joe johnson 88 role-star
paul pierce 82 role-starter this gonna be hot topic
Ok lets discuss those overalls

How 2ksports can rate player with 82 who acomplished things like won championship 08, finals mvp...outplaying kobe bryant world best player...2009 with allen they carried team till second round without garnett...this year pierce was strugling in season and vs cavs...but after that series pierce played well against magic and in finals dropping from 25-30 pts per game... while joe johnson acomplished nothing from 08-10 season.
Joe johnson is great basketball player and he is first option in team and he is part of team success no doubt about that but if your first team option averages only 18 pts per game in Playoffs this year and his all career than sorry you can't give him overall 88...and he is not great defender but little better than poor..no hate but joe johnson can't guard even chair...that's why he should be less post defense and avarness rating..maybe atleast 73-75
Joe johnson is better Midrange shooter than pierce...pierce can't shoot so well that's why he likes to drive in the line and draw fouls more often than joe johnson that's why pierce has even better % from field (47%)
While joe johnson shoots only with 45 % from field reason : he is not so quick player that's why he takes a lot of tough shoots in games..because he is forced to do that.
johnson is better passer than pierce, he is faster..but not quicker, he shoots better midrange shoots, he is little better than avarage 3 pt shooter..he is stronger..he is not so good defender and rebounder while pierce is good rebounder and actually very good defender...like melo...melo doesn't like to guard players who are just rollplayers, or allstars but when he has to guard kobe or james, wade he is not so lazzy anymore and it's 100 % true.
Joe Johnson accurate overall has to be 85 because of his passing ability and because he is so strong and consistency is not 90 but 85 but avarness of course is 90.
Paul pierce accurate overall 84

Darren collison 80 jennings 74, stuckey 74, stephen curry 80
Kevin garnett 80..al horford 81 funny fact horford has higher defense overall than kg...kg is still one of the best defenders in the league..

My overalls overall for 4 bucks player
Bogut 81
salmons 78
correy magette 78
jennings 77..because he is only 4th option now...he is not great passer but..solid passer, fast, handles well ball, little better than average midrange shooter..solid 3 pt shoot.
Collsion 76-77
stephen curry 78 because he is not very good defender or post defender.. he is not better rebounder than rajon rondo or kobe bryant..
stuckey 75
Kg 80..all horford 78...kg offense 75 - defense 83-84... all horford 78-78

Overalls are pointless. Forget about them.

As long as the player plays like they do in real life, I dont care if their overall is sub 50.

overall is pointless then turn down lebron james overall to 50...then you will see difference in rankings that's why every player overall is important.

They're not pointless but they aren't necessarily the be-all, end-all for a player's performance. They're also skewed by certain ratings, athletic ratings in particular being a common means of bumping or dragging down a player's overall rating from the "ideal" figure.

Yes, but then he doesn't play like Lebron does.

If you go about changing player ratings by their overalls, you are just asking for bias and wrong judgement calls.

They should just drop the overall rating completely. All it does is cause people to moan about how their favorite players and teams are "lower" than some other player or team, when in reality, chances are they play like they should.

Yes, there are some mistakes. Look at my team, the Jazz. I cringe as I see Bell putting up 15 shots a game, and CJ blowing open threes. Okur taking jump hooks, instead of face up jumpers and threes. Deron doing isos and taking contested Js.

That said, if you adjust his ratings to play like he should, and his overall drops below Rondo and Parker, OH WELL. He plays like he should and averages what he should, which is 10 times more important than any ranking you take out of this game.

I got it about player performance...but how I said player overalls change rankings...deron will play like deron ok...but I don't think you gonna be satisfied if your team because of poor rankings will end season out of playoffs in dynasty mode or other mods..that's why those overalls are important.
Try change lakers player overalls....and you will notice same things what I mention.
So I don't agree sorry man
