Question about My Player (playing time)

If I remember correctly, playing time and having your player start over players with much higher ratings was a huge problem (for me atleast) with the My Player mode.
Has this been addressed at all? I read the one post from 2K, but I didn't see this anywhere and it was probably the mode's biggest flaw...

I don't mean playing time like that. I'm talking about having a player rated 60 overall pulling in the same (or more) minutes then the team's best player.
