New Developer Insight: Presentation

Postby Andrew on Thu Sep 16, 2010 9:46 am

Check it out here.

They've definitely gone all out this year. Of note, there are different opening sequences, dynamic attendance and different crowd atmospheres have been implemented, there have been updates to the cameras and score overlay, there's special playoff presentation and of course the halftime show is touched upon. All sounds great to me.

Funny how there are no replies in here yet because in my opinion this is the "for the fans" insight. I hope everything he says comes true. Empty seats against bad teams, crowds booing ref's decisions, Coaches going crazy after player's mistakes or ref's calls, way better Playoff atmosphere (!!) and a changed pressbook (good for us Dynasty makers).

I love it!

....wow, all out this year, that kind of detail is nuts. I can't wait to see Boston fans heckling the ref.
Opinions are my own.

Only one that could ever do that would be a groundbreaking Association insight :(

I'd say there'll be something about Association coming, that tentative features list hinted at there being noteworthy info on Association yet to come.

Good stuff. Makes sense, they've covered just about everything else.

I think 2 insights left (Association - sometime next week) & the final one will cover NBA Today 2.0 etc (probably the following week, only a week out before release). There won't be any insight on online I don't think since nothing new in that department. I think main thing is for 2k to improve their dodgy servers.

in the playstation blog insight they mentioned they were doing at least articles on the online changes, blacktop mode, and then nba today and association.

so maybe multiple insights next 2 weeks?
Opinions are my own.

If that's what they've got left to cover then yeah, perhaps at least per week for the last couple of weeks leading up to the release.

Or not finish all their intended insights. I think it happened with one or two insights last year for 2K10.
