On Oct. 5, 2K Sports will unveil NBA2K11, which'll have some sweet new features -- all revolving around the game's greatest player, Michael Jordan -- that all hoops fans will probably enjoy. The coolest feature is the ability to put No. 23 on any current team, be it the Clip Show, the current Bulls, or even the best Lakers team Jerry Buss has ever owned (the 2010-11 Lakers).

Also posted on the official Facebook page.

The article doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know but the screens are nice.

My guess is that's the 86' Bulls they're using against the Lakers, if that's the case they have the right shorts but Jordan didn't start wearing those black compression shorts until the 88-89 season. Again I hope they let you edit the classic teams.

Seems to be an annual thing for Artest, though admittedly he chose #37 in honour of Michael Jackson as his signing came not long after Jackson's passing.

I hope the reason for number 15 isn't because of symbolizing unity as a 'team' (15 players). That would sound as corny and contrived like the reason for Kobe's number 24.

Probably not, he's worn #15 before and seems to revert back to it between tributes and other unusual jersey numbers.

Yep, #15 is Ron Artest's normal number (apparently to honor his father who wore #51), which he wore in college & when he first entered the league. The others have been to celebrate former players/people (Jordan - 23; Rodman - 91; Representin' Queensbridge!!! - 93 & 96; MJ - 37).
