NBA 2k11 PC Patch Released - Impressions

Too many variables in a sports game like basketball that need to maintain balance. You can't really compare a billion dollar game like gta to a little basketball sports title. Also, The 2K devs are probably in the early development process of 2K12.

little basketball sports title ? you know they had over two million copies sold of 2k10 ? and earning ANNUALY 100mio$ or more on a videogame where you additionally spend more money every year for advertisement then the production itself i wouldn't figuere that a pc patch is so hard to release like they claim.
come on already, that's the buety of pc, you can bring out fixes immediatly. i've never heared of such a BS like 2K is telling. It's just funny. They call their game a simulation and u cant even take a charge and cpu making 5 fastbreaks in like 1minute LOL. the only reason why i'm still playing now is because of the project by juza. 2K is one of the bigger game producing companies on this planet. So please dont tell me that a billion dollar company cant bring out a patch within the first weeks (at least a quickfix for charges and fastbreaks), because its just PATHETIC - nothing else. And everyone who is still believing this ronny guy should read my post again, he's a muppet without any influence at all, and sometimes it seems like without information at all.

GTA or Rockstar is a multi-BILLION dollar company where as 2k is a multi- MILLION dollar company. I understand where your coming from but the Call of Duty series don't even compare to GTA let along 2k sports.

Actually, both Rockstar and 2K are subsidiaries of Take-Two.

@Bula000 PC patch sent back to QA. We want to get the unranked divergence fix in because you can't access coach settings in game.

@fanxianjushi PC Patch is just finishing up at QA, then has to go to 1st Party. Unranked issue fixed cause you can't change in game settings

@pajarskiukas #NBA2K11 PC Patch was approved by Steam and a couple others but we have to wait for other big DDs. Holidays over should help

And of course the bad news about the patch having to go back to QA was announced one week ago. Today is almost two months since the patch supposedly finished its first QA.
I'll leave the theories to you guys

Probably not much more to it than the PC version not being a priority and 2K not wanting to openly say that, but ultimately irritating everyone a lot more in the process.

I'm surprised Ronnie is able to respond to questions by typing considering that he's overflowing with BS right now.

Echoes of last year. At least there's less to fix this time around, they got it closer to right the first time around.

We said same things before Thanksgiving, Christmas, New year day, January, End of January, February and we will says same think for All Star Break March, Avril and Play-Off

In November Ronnie said that PC Patch need fews days before release ... one year is 356 days .......where is the probleme ? 2k don't lie !

I quite sure that not every issue will be fixed, one patch is never enough, only if they test it like maniacs, what is not happening 'cause they're always sending it do DD and stuff. Let's get ready for a little fail.
