Just got the game.

Went into practice and the spin move was easy as well as the behind the back dribble. (Using Logitech Dual Action)

But the second I played an exhibition game, damn! I could do the spin moves but they would happen like 2 or 3 seconds after i finished the circle motion. Often times it wouldn't do the spin move or behind the back dribble and I was doing everything right. Instead my player does some through the legs dribble.....this is rough...I wish they still had it where I could just tap a button and do it immediately to be honest....I can't run up to a PG and try to spin move around him now. Oh well, I wonder if there is some way to mod a button to do it. I'd rather have that than a button devoted entirely to a "fake pass"

phscyiipfer wrote:After several attempts and practice, finally i have done behind the back dribble and spin move. i can say about 60-70% of the time i can pull it off when i want to.
the trick is, as i can see you should move the player slightly, more of walking not running to set up for the spin and behind the back dribble. don't move the analog stick all the way..just like the czar mentioned, don't pound the stick. for behind the back dribble walk and time the dribble then hold the R1 button (turbo) and at same time move the stick around from ball hand to the other hand like going around the players back in one fluid motion. i don't really get but i pulled it of accidentally twice w/o holding the turbo button. for spin just use the clutch instead and a full 360 on the stick. hope it helps.

thanks for the tip, I can finally pull off the move in practice mode. in actual gameplay, its such a burden to execute since its like using zangief's super, and im not very good at street fighter.

i am used to sarcasm not sure if this is

it is not that hard follow the instructions from the manual.

1) Not all Players have this dribble move or meet its requirements

2) Do a Full Circle from Analog Up position counter clockwise to go right
Clockwise to go left

3) Don't push any other button besides Analog in a circle motion

4) you need to be slightly moving to perform this

5) remember certain moves can only happen at certain times

what are you talking about natcho  what sarcasm ..it wasn't sarcasm

These are the keyboard controls from the manual, do they work?

Crossover Numpad 0
Double Cross Numpad 0 (press twice)
Spin Numpad . (period)
Behind the Back Numpad . (period) (press twice)

Those were the controls on 2k10

I have the same problems as others seem to have, but turning on and off v-sync doesn't seem to do any difference. Any other ideas for possible solutions?

I couldn't do the 360 dunks in 2k10 either, but didn't care enough to try to fix the issue back then - not being able to do spin moves is a bigger problem though.

I found a new ways to pull off a spin move, while on running or walking motion, hold LB and RB together, your player while do the post stance, then quickly release the RB while doing the circle motion for the Left Stick,, I can pull it off every time a want to..hope this will help...

I did it once or twice in my player. But yeah, it's pretty hard.

For anyone that still has trouble pulling off isomotion moves, this is a good video i found recently.

Just wondering if you guys could do spin/behind the back moves consistently? In the video (around 3:30), it seems really easy for the guy to do these moves (PS3), I've spent time in practice mode trying it out but just couldn't get it to work (logitech dual action gamepad). Is this a bug on the PC, is it going to get fixed with the patch?

i had only done spin move "real spin move" not the spin move that you can't dribble after having spin or the pro hop spin
only twice its really hard for keyboard user.. but if i have analog i can do it 6/10 trial maybe..

Spin move are damn slow. Or is it just my players weakness. Even Johnny Flynn spins so slow. It's pretty easy dude, if you get used to it.

I can do the behind the back, but I find it useless. Doing this plus the flick flick, then you get a score.:D
