Individual ratings have a much bigger impact on gameplay than the overall rating.

Oh I won't say, that he has no defense. He has pretty good blocking and perimeter defense, but not so good. But i think, he's a bit underrated. Like, when you'll play game with this overall, he will look like an average guy. Well, we'll see how he does in this season and (I think) if he does well, his overall will change.

But he is an average player (at least in the regular season).

68 is fine for Kleiza. Ive always questioned Rashidis input on ratings but once you play it makes sense. One good example is how he has Kobe's dunk rating at 65. Alot of people argued against that but to be honest it suits the current Kobe better. Once you play the game with Kleiza at that rating using Rashidis rosters youll see why hes there. When playing on 2k's rosters i never get the sense the players are playing like themselves at all.

We tend to give too much importance to overall ratings anyway. So long as the players have realistic abilities and play like their real life counterparts, the exact overall rating isn't that important. Especially when certain abilities boost the overall a little higher or drag it down lower than is perhaps ideal.

STOP IT I NEED TO RANT AND RAVE OVER A ONE POINT DIFFERENCE AMONG PLAYERS AND THEN GO POST IN NBA TALK ABOUT HOW YOU CAN'T ASSIGN A SINGLE NUMBER TO PLAYERS SO STATS ARE WORTHLESS!

I somehow could agreed that Bogut (83), Jefferson (79), Nene (79) higher rating than Bynum, but Oden (80), Horford (81) and Love (82)

And James Haden (78) ? Better than OJ Mayo (74) ?

And Daren Collison (82) better than Curry (80), Billups (79), Harris (79) ?
