It's just ridiculously difficult, is all. I've only successfully managed once or twice.

Yeah, very difficult. The easiest way to do is in exhibition game.

So..... ehm...... What is the point of bragging about your control configuration again?

OT I had no luck doing a spin or behind the back dribble either :( AAAND, I use keyboard, so it's pretty much "forget about it" :D

lol, there's no way for keyboard users to get to the rim this year. I find it nearly impossible to get to the rim with the regular crossover, or double cross.

what are you talking guys? I have keyboard and I know how to do spin move shots, spin move dunks..only spin move and then make fadeawy jumper or simple jumper...that's why I posted my keyboard conf.. and you all have to go in pratice mode and then follow to the tips in help menu screen!

That's how I learned those moves..And I can sometimes do behind back ..I will figure out how to do that often

how Can I teach you??? I learned from help menu which is available in practice mode..that menu includes tips how to do different moves
starting from layups, shots , isomotions...

ok here are some tips for moves
for spin move ..I use pro hop button..in my keyboard E..when you drive to the basket Press and hold E.... you wil confirm spin not hop step if you will tap easily player will make hop step so make sure you hold enough strong that button
Spin move shot.. while you dribbling with player across to the basket..press arrow in the opposite direction from player movement + shot button!Remember press and hold opposite arrow enough strong + shot button. ONLY WITH SHOT BUTTON THOSE MOVES WORKS NO TRIGERS OR UPPER SHOT BUTTONS, ETC.
... with same tips from spin move shot you can make spin move + dunk if your player will be close to the paint also you can realese fingers quick after player makes spin you can make basic inside shot.
Hope those tips will help you guys. I know allmoust every crossover and move in nba 2k11...and I learn very fast :P when I got my copy ..in first time practice I spent it about 45 mins and I learned 8 different moves ..so practice practice and again practice guys..because every player has different quickness, speed rating..and offcourse driblle packages.

i'll probably I'll clear up what im asking about the spin move

Spin move not the pro hop spin move which could cause a offensive foul when being near the player

It's about the Spin move that is instantanious that doesnt have hard contacts when performed.

More of like this seen in NBA 2k10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZhLn8nChkk

Now I am angry sorry but are you dumb or what???
Spin move shot.. while you dribbling with player across to the basket..press arrow in the opposite direction from player movement + shot button!Remember press and hold opposite arrow enough strong + shot button. ONLY WITH SHOT BUTTON THOSE MOVES WORKS NO TRIGERS OR UPPER SHOT BUTTONS, ETC.
... WITH SAME TIPS FROM spin move shot you can MAKE SPIN + DUNK JUST LIKE IN YOUR VIDEO!!! IF your player will be CLOSE to the paint also you can realese fingers quick after player makes spin you can make basic inside shot.

AND I WILL REPEAT FOR EVERYONE ...YOU CAN MAKE SPIN away from defender...PRESSING PRO HOP BUTTON ...IN MY KEYBOARD IT'S E-BUTTON...when you drive to the basket Tap and hold E enough strong and you will confirm spin.. away from defender..

But better use spin+ dunk..because spin will be more powerfull but you can releas your fingers...and make basic shot too not dunk.

And I said I will figure out how to do behind the back because for me it's hard enough too but sometimes i can do that.

follow321, I don't think you know what keyboard users want to know.

I believe these are easy to do and as you said, all you need to do is to follow the on screen instructions in practice mode.

But you're going to stop after you make the move. You're only going to use this when you're close to the paint area. I think this is called the spin hop step? The spin move that people want to know is the one that you don't have to pick up your dribble. If you've played 2k10 on PC, it's the hop step button, it was the spin last year. You should be able to do this spin move anywhere on the court, no matter when you're bringing up the ball or when you're trying to get past a defender in a half court offense. The spin and behind the back moves were the isomotion moves that got me to the hole consistently last year. If you know how to do the spin or behind the back on the keyboard, please kindly post.

I don't know about that... when I make spin my player stops only If I still hold E-button after spin.. ... and yesterday I learned kobes pivot shot but difference is with paul pierce :D
Try Tee-pane realeas your fingers from hop step button- E when player confirm spin and he won't stop ..

it is not that hard follow the instructions from the manual.

1) Not all Players have this dribble move or meet its requirements

2) Do a Full Circle from Analog Up position counter clockwise to go right
Clockwise to go left

3) Don't push any other button besides Analog in a circle motion

4) you need to be slightly moving to perform this

5) remember certain moves can only happen at certain times

If someone like to much spin moves you can also change player iso gather in edit player option...and take package where player makes spin and in game player will make spin without stop..

great job Natcho (Y)

I was able to do a spin move twice yesterday using my keyboard, not sure what I pressed, though. I think it was clutch, and 2 movement buttons- to off ball hand and opposite of movement directions :]. Gonna try something in practice today

Postby phscyiipfer on Wed Oct 13, 2010 11:21 am

After several attempts and practice, finally i have done behind the back dribble and spin move. i can say about 60-70% of the time i can pull it off when i want to.
the trick is, as i can see you should move the player slightly, more of walking not running to set up for the spin and behind the back dribble. don't move the analog stick all the way..just like the czar mentioned, don't pound the stick. for behind the back dribble walk and time the dribble then hold the R1 button (turbo) and at same time move the stick around from ball hand to the other hand like going around the players back in one fluid motion. i don't really get but i pulled it of accidentally twice w/o holding the turbo button. for spin just use the clutch instead and a full 360 on the stick. hope it helps.
