i tried that already sir..but i cant install the dds plug in in gimp...

you simply plop the exe in the plugins folder

from the readme with the dds plugin i link to in that tutorial

To install, extract these files to your GIMP plugins directory.
This directory is usually located at:
C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins

i did that...but when i open gimp and try to open at dds file...i always get an error message...
