NBA 2K11 crashes in Association mode calender. HELP

Ok so I am using the Xbox360 wired controller for the PC version of this game and whenever I am inside the Calender menu checking out my schedule, I hit the X button (Im not really sure what that key is supposed to do in that menu because it always crashes) the whole game crashes in a flash without error message. Just poof.

I am using absolutely no mods. All natural from the disk. I may have downloaded a couple of files online from within the game but nothing external. I am using a legit game with DVD inside the drive and everything. Please help.
