Advice on editing scoreboards?

Postby Jazza2319 on Mon Apr 11, 2011 8:23 am

So the only place i've been able to find the files located at is in the gooey.global, but when i add a .dds file to it, it fails to show up. I'm not familiar with the mip maps, so perhaps my problem is there? Just wanting to know what i'm doing wrong and if anybody knows the locations of the other small logo's (menu, arena loading screen, etc.) Here is what i did:

1 - Export the res with the mod tool
2 - Edit the file with photoshop, then saved as a .dds file
3 - Imported the res with the mod tool

Thanks in advance

Also note that i found nba tv logos at 806, and 732 in the global.iff files, anybody know what those are?

I figured out the problem i was having, it was the compression and the size of the file that was wrong. For anybody else having the same problems, make sure the file is 512x512 and you compress it with the ARGB, 8 bpp, interpolated alpha setting. I managed to change the philly logo to the old iverson-era version. Excited to do some more exploring with the files in this game
