The game is too slow,i updated directx, drivers for graphic card, everything but nothing helps... These are my pc's specifications - intel(r) core(tm) i3 cpu 550@3.20 ghz, 4gb ram, nvidia geforce gt 430 1gb ddr3. i think it should be running smooth on this pc,on my previous pc it was working ok even dough it was worse than this one.
Hi racicb

First of all, I think your post is in the wrong section^^Here, this is "the releases and previews's" section. I guess an admin will move it soon

So about your problem :
- First, check that there is no processus running while nba2k11 is also running, 'cause it slows a lot the game. (ctrl+alt+del)
- Some downloads can also slow the game, check for them.
- Check if the graphics settings of your nvidia card are not too high. I know this is supposed to be a better pc but you'll have to chose between good performance with good quality and bad performance with very high quality I think.
- And I think you should try to turn the Windows Visual Effects to Off. Since I did that, I can play the game with all high settings (high player, high textures, high court, high crowd...etc + 1280x720) and my laptop has a lower video card and a lower processor than yours. The visual effects are in the advanced settings of your system, hope you can find them.
- If nothing of what I told you doesn't work, then it's gotta be another problem. Maybe refreshment rate of your monitor, or your operating system, or some kind of viral attack I don't know.
Hope I helped ya

See ya
