How to edit players + accessories

Hello I have not been around since Nba 2k9. I have been playing the console version since then but I realized how much better it is on PC all because of the modding community. It really is so much better. I remember in 2k9 most of the editing was using the IFF tool to change players CF or editing the arms or face to add accessories.

I was just wondering whether I can still use the iff editor and copy and paste things to change faces. I tried it and things just seem more complicated then I remembered. I wanna use a face from nba 2k9 for myplayer
Also how do accessories work now? I can see that it is not down to individual iff files anymore but in globals. However I find that because the default accessories have changed you have players around the league wearing the same type of arm sleeve instead of team colored ones. Is there anyway around this?

Also in the config.cfg file does the HDR option work? It is set at 0 by default which I am assuming means off so I changed it to 1 and the game does look different but it could be placebo.
