Coaches getting fired

Since we PC users are not getting the patch anytime soon (March), is there a way to fix or at least prevent coaches from getting fired in myplayer? Cuz I see some people not getting this bug and I wonder why that is. I have started many new games and I keep getting the bug.
Another question is, if you keep playing while coaches are getting fired will the bug eventually go away?
Without the patch, this is very frustrating because it makes myplayer unplayble for me as it hurts team chemistry. It is also very annoying to see every headline and pressconference about coaches getting fired.

@Ronnie2K Any updates for the NBA 2K11 PC Patch bud? Hopefully it'll be release before March unlike last yr!

@TCnumba10 The PC Patch will be before March. Just realize that there's a lot more approval for it, have to get it passed by everyone.

TCnumba10 asked Ronnie when the PC patch would be coming, noting the delay for the NBA 2K10 patch (March 2010). Ronnie responds by saying the patch will be coming before March, indicating there won't be a delay similar to the NBA 2K10 update.

It doesn't seem like there's a date set in stone at this time, at the moment we've only got a vague suggestion of it likely becoming available within the next couple of weeks. Having said that, March 2011 has not been put out there as a release date at this time.

Well, it would be before March, you'd have to give them that. Hopefully similar delays won't occur this time around, though Ronnie also notes the reasons for the PC updates being held back in that Tweet.

Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up guys. Still hoping that I can play myplayer between now and then tho. I guess I will just have to live with the bugs in myplayer unless someone knows how to prevent it.
Does anyone know if you have to start a new game in myplayer for the patch to take effect? I hope not.

According to some other recent Tweets by Ronnie, you shouldn't have to. Anyone who's suffered a corrupted save will have to but other issues should be resolved without having to start over.

I want to see the Jerry Sloan retiring bug fixed. It has been in the game since 2k7. That man will never retire.
