Lob passes

Does anyone know how to throw a lob pass? I know it happens automatically when you feed the center in the post area, but is there a command to do it whenever I want?
I control the Suns and there's a specific play for J-Rich that involves a lob pass over the defender and every time I try, it's a low arc pass easy to intercept. I read about Icon Lead Passing, but noting about lob passes.

Describe the whole play. Maybe we can find a way to do it without the relying on the lob.

It's a play where you feed J-Rich with an alley oop pass. Works like a charm every now and then. Some CPU players "figure" it out quite quickly and wont allow you to cheese with it. Just pay attention and throw an alley oop when J has an open path to the bucket.

With Nba 2k9 I remember that we could throw a lob pass easily and when you wanted, but with 2k11 I think it's only automatic :s
