How to load official roster within the game?

Hello everyone!
I have downloaded the official roster from the official updates links...Although, I follow the steps of copying - paste etc...in my saves folder of NBA2K11 to update my roster, I cannot load it when I am going into the game...i.e. I still have Scalambrine in Celtics while he is in Bulls now!!!
It says at the official updates that since you overwrite the file in the saves folder then you go into the game and load the roster!!! The last one is that I can't figure out how!
Please any help, analytical, step by step if possible would be much appreciated!!!
