What's up with Drawing Charges bug, talking about realism

Rondo or Rose is mowing through my point guard, i click take charge button 2 sec before Rondo or Rose crash to my player, then BLOCKING FOUL . EVERY SINGLE FRIGGING TIME

I can barely keep up with these quick point guard and 2K somehow destroyed this feature, turning it to a joke... blocking foul crap instead of charging foul anyone experiencing this problem?

Oh by the way... Charging Fouls called in NBA 2k11 that I experience is when you used the draw charge when both ballhander and defender is in motion WTF, NBA 2k11 is in opposite world, totally different from reality and former games

I can take the game with no spin move (not prohop spin) , no behind the back spin for the keyboard, but this bulldogging of defenders without being called for a charging is utterly ridiculous especially online gameplay

Uhm, anticipating and taking a charge is good defence.

yeah. this thing killed me. i'm playing versus kings and i have gibson taking charge then udrih bump and shoot and sht. blocking foul. maybe it's just that in 2k10, you can always kill the cpu by charging

Yeah, I have noticed some wtf moments, myself. I wonder how long you have to be set for to get the charge. Try playing a friend online and hold the charge button and just have him run right over you and see if you get the call.

maybe turning up the charge sliders will help?

2k10 got more charge foul
2k11 got more draw foul...

i hate charge foul in 2k10 when i know its not a charge foul since im going sideways then the defender just bump me and im charge...
i love 2k11 i drive side ways and draw fouls from bump...

I've logged over 40 hours on the game now (statistics from Steam) and I've only seen a Charging Foul once.
All others that appeared to be Charging Foul are called for Blocking.

At least it's not only me is having the problem... I hope 2k fix this insanity in defense

No guys it's a bug that 2K has to fix. It is so annoying I'm actually drawing legit charges with various players and nothing happens there's either no calls or a blocking call when it really is a charge. Someone needs to fix it I even played with charging fouls on 100 and blocking on 30 and still no call for charges only blocks or players being run over its so unfair. Does anybody have a fix for it, or do we have to wait for a 2K patch, do they even know its an issue?

I wish the patch for PC will be released at least at the start of NBA season 10-11

I have, but it was when I tried to spin hop into the defender, so the charge was on me.

i've noticed they aren't as frequent as in 2k10 but I've been called for a charge more than a few times....

So JaoSming any news if this will be fixed in the upcoming patch?

yeah! i got my 1st charge call just now, playing the jordan challenge against pistons.

I concur. I find it alot harder to draw charges but then again it was probably too easy to draw them as a defender in 2k10. Lots of last second "take charges" should have been called as blocks in last years game.
I've been able to draw a few but you really do have to be there for a decent amount of time first. I've also found that I've drawn a few charges whilst moving backwards as a defender too, and they guy with the ball just bowls you over... but then again that's as blatant as a charge can get.
