NEED help on 2k11

Hey guys,

I have just got 2k11 on my pc, but was very disappointed with the delaying and poor graphic that I am having. I have played 2k9 on the same computer with absolutely no delay in graphic while moving from 1 side of the court to another. I don't know if it's my pc problem or not since my FPS is around 112, don't know if that's the problem. My 2k9 graphic is crystal clear and the player model shows detail body texture, but 2k11 look like this for me:

no idea what is causing your lag, and you do know you have your player models on medium and not the moving jersey high setting right?

anyway, the shaders are pretty much dimmed out by default but there are a few patches out now that increase the shadows on the players and jerseys

Hey Jaosming, thanks for linking to these great Mods. I might give those a try and figure out a way to stop the lag, which only happens in games but not in practice mode, weird as hell since I can play Stacraft II in ultra mode with no lag. Also I find it very frustrating for people who thought 2k11 is the greatest pc out there but find it very buggy and has tons of glitches. Why can't they simply use the 2k9 as a graphic framework and build all the new additions around that, save alot of time. But I guess their focus is on fluidity of movement in this yr, which isn't fluid at all if I lag every second from graphic malfunction. Aside from everything, in gameplay the players body texture looks very nba live 08 like, white color is white, black is all black, no texture at all, but the close up is damn real.

are all your settings maxed out? as I said before, you were using "medium" setting player models in that screenshot

No real difference between High everthing and medium everything, lag as always. But the 2k11 set my framrate default at 60 and no way to change, I also don't see any button for changing jersey setting, is there like a secret option that I am not aware of?

I also bought the game from Newegg, is it their problem maybe?? haha, I am already thinking of returning this game if this thing persists, have been trying for 2 days.

again....high player setting = moving cloth jerseys, medium = plastic, non-moving jerseys

what are they?

and you can turn of vsync if that is limiting you to 60 fps

Hey, I was doing benchmark again and set everything to high, the lag are not that bad now, hopefully. The new Mods are crazy good, big thanks to whoever came up with that. !!
