Hop Step Dunk on a Fast Break does it infuriate you

Anyone experience this?

Players like LeBron James or Kobe would just soar up high for a layup or dunk, not hopstep or hopstep spin then dunk (N)

I myself hate this feature, and alongside w/o ability to spin (via single button at keyboard). :?

I'm a console user.. and the hop step dunk is if you press the shot stick to the left of the basket i believe. i sometimes do it by accident with a fast break MJ dunk, and yes, it infuriates me. Try and familiarize with the PC controls.. and know what specifically the hop step dunk control is, so you can avoid it at all costs. (Y)

use the shot stick then instead of the shot button, you can map it to keyboard keys
Opinions are my own.

I've been actually doing that, though this game has a way different use of shot stick compared to last 2 games released

Yeah, its another example of bad controls. The hop step already has a button. The developers just need to chain it into dunk and layup quicker and smoother.

The only good thing about it is that you can change whether you dunk it or not by pressing the right stick a second time during the hop step.

If you have the shot stick set to camera relative and you use the broadcast angle, its less of a problem when driving to the basket on the left side of the court because people tend to push the stick toward the basket on layup and dunks. If you have it set to absolute, just remember not to press the shot stick to the left on fast breaks.

i more hate the "lag" from catching the ball on a fast break to getting into a full run. you tend to hesitate before running and let everyone and their brother catch up to you,

and i hate the fact than centers and forwards recover so quickly down court on break away steals and the like especially vs the bulls cause i do not recall too many teams being able to run down pippen and jordan on a fast break.

but boy do the announcers love when you do that spin dunk on a break.
