short and sweet is the way to go though. I like NFL 2k5's halftime show but football is a different animal. The slick transitions into player specific intros then some highlights with commentary is all I really want. I almost think adding a 2nd segment for NBA Today results goes a bit too long but again, that is personal preference.

it's just this its all basketball just game to game...need a break in between to throw the action off at least they have thrown more before game presentation but would like them to put more into it like a real game have announcers at a desk telling us about the game and maybe even about other games that are goin on .i think it would b cool

I think the halftime show is a case of if you can't do it completely, don't do it at all. You can't beat the halftime stuff they had with Kenny Smith until you get a full summary with key performers and strategic analyzation for the second half. Keep it brief, and keep it varied. We can't really ask much more from such a small segment of a game.

I'm satisfied even if halftime only consists of showing the team stats and box scores to know what I've been doing wrong and which players of mine aren't doing well.

but its supposed to be a simulation thats not how real halftime is when u are at the game or watching on tv and i do both on a regular .....so they should either do more commentary show more plays or do the halftime with the mascots or cheerleaders

Meh. It's the halftime show. It's not the game itself or directly affects it like CBA rules in Association mode. I couldn't care less. Whether a 'halftime' is sim or not, this is still a videogame after all.

word. in 2k7 i could sit and analyze the numbers and see where i needed to improve. in this one they flashed the stats for a second and then showed highlights of plays that didnt matter.

so what you are saying is that only when we play the games that are really gonna be played that day is the only time? i doubt that because if they will do it for nba today then
they would do it in association that don't make sense if they dont

thats all i play (association)......but the cba cmon a bunch of bums wouldnt watch a game dont wanna hear about them in real life so y would i care in a video game....but i care about the halftime which happens every game i play..so i would expect more

I'm talking about the CBA - Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league and the players union. The one that dictates salaries, trade rules, FA rules, salary caps, etc.
I don't want the CBA being talked about, I want it to be implemented properly and hopefully in it's entirety in association mode. That's what I meant.
