Creating real overlays

Wed Dec 01, 2010 1:47 pm

Hey guys, my goal is to create real scoreboards for nba 2k11. I'm not wanting to just replace the nba 2k11 logo with an espn logo, but actually overhaul the entire scoreboard presentation. What tools do I need to accomplish this? And can anyone lead me towards the right direction? I don't have any modding experience in the nba 2k area, but I do in the mvp baseball area. I would love to have an opportunity to create an espn overlay or the new tnt overlay. Thanks for any help.

first you need to uncompress the overlay_static.iff file and then you gotta check out the hex for positioning of the scoreboard components.

i think there was a tutorial done for the 2k10 scoreboard, so check that out too

Actually, after some searching I couldn't find it. Could you link me to it?
