Shoot in the post whithout the backboard

somebody can say to me how can i make a hook in the post without the backboard. all players use the backboard to make short range hooks!!! i put his tendencies of using the backboard in 0 but it still happens. HELP!!!

Tendencies only effect CPU play.

Must be the button combination you are using to make it go off the backboard.

Bankshot is left trigger plus shoot. The left trigger is also used for posting up (in combination with right trigger). Perhaps you have to let go of the left trigger earlier.
