Why doesn't custom content show up in online games?

During quick games or during season modes the mods that I have, for example Shadow Mod 8 by johndoe22 and HD Floors by Ricoy. These courts show up differently and really weird colors and the shadow mod is non-existent. Can anyone tell me anyway to get them working for online matches because I usually play unranked games.

The game automatically switches to lower settings for online games. The mods are for high settings I guess.

So no way to get em to work online? Even if I re-run the benchmark tool?
