One of the guys played it. Listened from the 53 minute mark to the hour mark, then they trailed to "What if it gets cancelled talk" which I heard again and again when skipping ahead before the next topic

smooth from rebound up court to shoot
Rough Edges

Crowd fine
Commentary really good
Not like 2K14 quality, but good
Jalen Rose as Host, nice job pre/post game
Pre/half/post very slick and smooth ESPN presentation
Cutscenes at Halftime Wired with Coach voices
Modes/Features
Normal GM/Single Player
Connectivity
Borrowed from FIFA, online seasons
Daily Challenges, Rose Winner, 4th Quarter only sometimes
A lot of interesting stuff in Live 14
Wrapped around a game of a clear solid foundation of a bball game
2K14 will probably be much smoother
Live 14 was enjoyable, rough, problems, short sample, but there is "something there"
Scott O'Gall - "Proud but not satisfied" with Live 14
Player specific booing is awesome, and they did make mention of the Vince Carter debacle back in Live 10/2K10 when 2K said the NBA wouldn't/doesn't allow that. I liked hearing about the smooth gameplay...but missed shots/loose balls/rebounding is a part of that, and it sounds like stuff like this

may be common, and shades of NBA Live PS360 games.... which sucks, but at least we get something.
