Hey guys,
I'm here to let you know that today is my last day as the NBA Community Manager for EA SPORTS. I was here on a contract position and the contract has come to an end. It's been a phenomenal year and 3 months since I've been in this position and I've had the opportunity to interact with a lot of really cool and passionate basketball videogame fans. I've been around the community for some time before taking this position but one thing I can say is that I have a greater appreciation of what a strong community can mean for improving a game.
I know that there are people who feel that they are not being listened to but I can tell all of you right now that it's not true at all. While things may not have gone as planned I'm still proud that I had the opportunity to work with great people within EA and most of all I had the chance to interact with everyone here on the forums. You guys are the difference makers that will determine how basketball games will improve moving forward.
To the mods, you can remove my status as NBA Community Manager. I'm now a normal citizen just like all of you but with a little more insight as to how things really work in the industry. I still plan on talking with all of you as I've been able to meet a lot of great people in my time as Community Manager. I hope to keep in touch with all of you and I'll be seeing all of you guys again soon. Peace.
Yaw.
