Welcome to the NBA Elite 11 section of the NLSC Forum!

While discussions of what we'd like to see in NBA Elite 11 are most certainly welcome and to be encouraged, I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that our Wishlist was submitted to the NBA Live Dev Team on January 22nd 2010 and no further additions will be made until we compile the NBA Elite 12 Wishlist. You can view a copy of the Wishlist and supplementary materials that were submitted to the Dev Team here:

We are currently maintaining an entry for NBA Elite 11 here in our Wiki:
http://www.nba-live.com/nbalivewiki/ind ... A_Elite_11

Please feel free to contribute and update the page as news is made available; I'll certainly be doing that myself but the Wiki is of course intended to be a community project.

You can find a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about NBA Elite 11 here in the Wiki:
http://www.nba-live.com/nbalivewiki/ind ... te_11_FAQs

Correct, the fiscal report would seem to have confirmed no PC release again this year.

It was an uphill battle due to the history of PC sales. I don't regret doing the petition, I'll do whatever I can to demonstrate how much we want a PC version but these decisions come from higher up than the NBA Live Developers and the people making those decisions are looking at the bottom line, which is feasibility and profit.

Mike Wang isnt the be all end all when it comes to video games

his changes in Live 10 are what made me hate the game
Opinions are my own.

There's probably others that agree with that, certainly when it comes to the control scheme. I got used to it fairly quickly but if they went away from it again I think I could adjust.

I think we shouldnt want anything from EA. They broke hearts. Again, I wont believe in EA all. Same things: Plastic players and same bugs.

You're entitled to your opinion but don't expect everyone to share it, especially in regards to player data like DNA and Hot Spots which are geared towards realism and were pretty successful at achieving that in NBA Live 10 (unfortunately the sim engine wasn't properly updated to handle them). If you're not interested in NBA Live 11 then that's fine, but you'll have to accept that other people are and as such, we're going to talk about it and yes, look forward to it. You've made your point and it's fair enough, I'm sure there's a lot of former EA customers who share that point of view but it needn't be repeated over and over. We get it, you're not getting NBA Live 11. As I said, if NBA 2K11 is what you're interested in then please go talk about it in the NBA 2K11 section. That's what it's there for.

Actually, from what I know, EA does not dissapoint in the FIFA games, but Live 10 really wasn't a disappointment either.

NBA Live 10 really lifted its game in terms of the gameplay and trying to realistically represent NBA basketball. Aside from issues caused by the patch, the area that let it down most was the game modes which is why I still hope that will be the main focus this year. Gameplay is more along the lines of where it needs to be but Dynasty Mode really needs improvement.

Right Andrew. It cleaned Shaq's long-range 2pt shooting.

Actually it did fix issues like that, until the official patches tried to correct a problem with the CPU stalling and wasting the clock unnecessarily when a play broke down, leading to big men taking long shots when they don't have to because the AI is trying to improvise too early in the shot clock. Out of the box, I never had any issues with Shaq taking long jumpers.

What if the game was everything you wanted but someone else was on the cover? ;)

I reckon they'd put Paul on the cover if they could work out a deal, regardless of him being on the 2K8 cover. That was three years ago after all and he's still a highly marketable player.

Despite all it's gameplay flaws, I think NBA Live 10 is a great game and something that NBA Live 11 can build off of. If they iron out the issues with 10, then I think it could be potentially an excellent instalment of the series... EA hasn't broken my heart yet.

I'm often surprised when I see graphics ranked above gameplay or game modes in terms of importance but to each their own I guess. I'm easier to please when it comes to the graphics, probably because I have fond memories of the days when the graphics were nothing like they are now.

Graphics are what pull you to want to play a game, so it's obvious many people want good graphics.
