I think it's a good idea and a thing that would make good use of the Synergy data, but I think it should give at least a minimal benefit. Here's why:
1) It would be more realistic. Why do you suppose players prefer to do specific things in specific situations? Because it is more comfortable for them, which automatically means a higher success rate in what they do. So, not giving any boost would be just unrealistic. Of course that creates a huge problem, because logically it would be realistic to punish a player for doing something that particular player wouldn't do making him uncomfortable and they can't do that for obvious reasons.
2) If it doesn't give you any benefits, then it would be just for hardest fans and simulation-heads of which there aren't many. Many gamers would find this feature pointless and turn it off. That would mean that EA spends time, money and effort on something they can't even market that much. Videogames are a business, but many of us want developers working on things we would love to use.
So, even though I think it's a good idea, it would be tricky to implement and make it worth all of the work put in it.
